Hello, my name is Laura Wagoner and I own and operate Wagoner Portrait Studio in Detroit Lakes, MN.  I have been a professional photographer for more than 20 years. Photography is more than a vocation for me; it's a passion. I love what I do and it shows in my portraits. In addition to doing branding sessions, business and commercial photography, I enjoy taking portraits of families and seniors, but I specialize in taking portraits of newborns and children, my own three can attest to this!

Besides the extensive expertise I have gained running my own studio for more than a decade, I continually challenge myself by entering into state, district and international photographic competitions.  I achieved my goal of becoming a Certified Professional Photographer in 2014 and a Master Photographer in 2017.  I have also won many awards including the ASP award, the Fuji Masterpiece award, the Sunset Lexjet award and multiple others.  I have been a member of the Professional Photographers of America, PPA since 2011, and the Minnesota Professional Photographers of America, MNPPA since 1998. Both organizations have further nurtured my technical skills and artistic talents; they have also helped me to stay on top of current style trends and cutting edge photographic techniques.
